• We are currently seeking a Receiving Inspection CMM Technician for the Manufacturing Technical Operations division located in Houston, TX.
• The Receiving Inspection CMM Technician works in the areas of Calypso CMM inspection or quality test of products within the Quality Control organization.
• The Receiving Inspection CMM Technician will perform quality inspections to standard AQLs and support Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspection programs.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

• Create metrology programs using Calypso 2021 software for Zeiss Contura and O-Inspect CMMs.
• Create standard work instructions and report templates to ensure a high quality and robust inspection process.
• Perform measurements to support the Gage R&R analysis of inspection routines.
• Hands-on support of Incoming Inspection and Molding to confirm visual and dimensional Out of Specifications of components.
• Promote cooperation and teamwork within the Quality Control department through open, candid communication and timely coordination.

Skills:

• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Demonstrated experience in using Calypso 2021 software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision.
• Ability to fluently read, write, and understand and communicate in English.
